Kakira Silver Rum is pot distilled in single batches and aged for a minimum of 30 months utilizing a solera aging system. The rum is first aged in single-use American Bourbon barrels before being transferred Spanish Sherry casks.
After completing the aging process, the silver rum is then filtered to remove the color before bottling.
